If you’re reading this, it probably took courage to get here. That matters. Here’s exactly what happens next — no surprises, no pressure.
No commitment. No intake forms. No pressure to sign up for anything. Just a short conversation so we can both get a sense of whether working together feels right.
I’ll ask a little about what brings you in. You can ask me anything. And if we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule a first session. If not, I’ll do my best to point you somewhere that might work better.
No. I mean that. I work with some of the most sensitive, shame-heavy issues a person can carry — sexual compulsivity, addiction, infidelity, things people have never said out loud. I’ve heard a lot. Nothing you tell me will change the respect and care I bring to our work.
Yes, completely. Everything you share is protected under HIPAA and New York State confidentiality laws. The only exceptions are the standard ones required by law — imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, and child abuse reporting. I’ll explain all of this clearly in our first session.
That’s okay. The free consultation is just a conversation — not a commitment. Lots of people come for a call and then take time before starting. You set the pace, always.
I’m an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance or provide superbills. Sessions are $250 for individuals and $330 for couples. A sliding scale is available — ask me about it on the consultation call.
I ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full session fee. Life happens — if something comes up, just let me know as early as you can.
Yes — my Crown Heights office is ADA accessible. Telehealth sessions are available across New York State if in-person isn’t possible for you.
